Entertaiment is a word that describes a lot of different activities for people. It can include everything from watching movies, going to the theatre, playing sports, to hanging out with friends. The definition of entertainment has definitely shifted with the changing technological scenario. People are spending less time in social gatherings and are more focused on chatting with their friends online through facebook and whats app.
According to Bates and Ferri (2010), entertainment is an activity understood objectively that encompasses communication between text and audience from an external stimulus, offers pleasure, requires an audience to exist, and happens in a passive form.
